It appears Xiaomi quietly introduced a new variant of the Xiaomi Mi 10T here in Malaysia. Previously offered with 8GB of RAM, this Snapdragon 865 smartphone now comes with 6GB of RAM instead for only RM1,599 – a RM100 price cut compared to the former model.

We spotted this new variant of the Mi 10T on Xiaomi’s official Shopee and Lazada stores. Although the RAM capacity of this RM1,599 model has been reduced to 6GB from 8GB, the internal storage (thankfully) remains the same at 128GB. At the time of writing, only the Cosmic Black colour is available on Shopee, while the Lazada listing still has the aforementioned colour option and Lunar Silver in stock.

Beyond the slightly lower RAM capacity, other hardware of this Mi 10T variant remain the same as the previous model. It’s still powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, and it even retains the 6.67-inch 1080p IPS hole-punch display with a fast 144Hz refresh rate.

Other specifications of the Mi 10T include a triple camera system (64MP f/1.89 primary + 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide angle + 5MP f/2.4 macro) a 20MP f/2.2 front-facing camera, a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

This new Xiaomi Mi 10T model with 6GB of RAM is now available for purchase in Malaysia on Shopee as well as Lazada for RM1,599. Given the sheer value for money this phone offers, you may want to grab it before stocks run out.
