Aside from the range-topping Mi 10T Pro, Xiaomi also brought in this equally high-end phone at an even lower price point, the Xiaomi Mi 10T. Just like the Pro variant, this device comes with a fast 144Hz screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, and a very, very competitive price tag.
At the moment, only one variant of the Mi 10T is confirmed for the Malaysian market: it comes with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM for only RM1,699. That’s right, only RM1,699 for a Snapdragon 865 phone with a 6.67-inch 1080p 144Hz display – not many phones can offer this level of hardware at this price point.
In fact, the Mi 10T shares a lot of the Pro’s hardware, though it does feature a less sophisticated triple camera system. Instead of a 108MP primary sensor, it comes with a more pedestrian 64MP f/1.89 main shooter with a 13MP f/2.4 ultra-wide angle lens and a 5MP f/2.4 macro sensor.
Other specifications of the Mi 10T include a 20MP f/2.2 front-facing camera, a large 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Basically, the exact same hardware as its Pro counterpart.
If you don’t need the Mi 10T Pro’s more sophisticated camera system and 256GB storage, the regular Xiaomi Mi 10T will serve as a very good alternative. It will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 23 October onwards on Lazada for RM1,699.
