In less than 24 hours, the Proton X50 will finally be launched here in Malaysia. Ahead of its official launch tomorrow, the B-segment SUV is already making its way to showrooms nationwide. Of course, more images of the X50 started making their round on the internet, and we even got a closer glimpse of the Executive variant’s interior.
These images were shared to the Proton X50 Community Malaysia Facebook page. According to the author, this is the interior of the Executive model. Unlike the Flagship and Premium variants, the Executive trim – and presumably the Standard as well – sports a single tone interior finished in black. Folks that want a more minimalist aesthetic may find this more appealing.
Aside from the different colour scheme of the interior, the Executive trim of the X50 also sports a smaller 8-inch infotainment screen in the centre console. This is in contrast to the bigger and wider 10-inch screen of the Premium and Flagship models.
Another noteworthy difference is the instrument cluster of the Executive X50. Instead of the completely digital instrument panel of the higher-end models, the Executive trim make do with a semi-digital unit. Though it may not sound quite as exciting, it does look quite good.

The Proton X50 is set to be launched online via a live stream on Proton’s Facebook page at 10:50AM tomorrow on 27 October. We’ll find out then exactly how much the B-segment SUV will cost in Malaysia.
