PRISM+ Luna Lands in Malaysia – Smart Air Conditioner From RM799

PRISM+ just launched its first smart home appliance in Malaysia. The PRISM+ Luna is a smart air conditioner with a rather extensive warranty coverage of up to seven years, which is complemented with an in-house servicing package for added convenience.

Of course, just like other PRISM+ products, the Luna offers good value for money. For the Malaysian market, the 1.0hp model goes for RM799, while the 1.5hp variant is priced at RM1,099. Do note that these are early bird prices, which are discounted by RM200 from the original prices.

Unlike other home appliance brands in the market now, the Luna comes with in-house servicing, though this is only limited to the Klang Valley area for now. PRISM+ offers an annual servicing package for the Luna, which follows a six-month servicing schedule and automatically enrolls the user to the seven-year extended warranty coverage. The pricing of the servicing package has not been revealed yet, though we were told that value for money will be prioritised.

On paper, the Luna features eco-friendly R32 refrigerant, a four-layer anti-corrosive coating dubbed “Gold Fin” to protect the indoor unit and compressor from the elements, as well as app control through the new PRISM+ Connect app on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The app has a number of useful features, including providing insights like energy usage, geofencing capability, and setting up specific routines.

The PRISM+ Luna will be available for pre-order in Malaysia through the company’s official website from 1 May onwards; it can also be pre-ordered from Shopee, Lazada, and retail stores from 15 May. To recap, the Luna is priced at RM799 and RM1,099 for the 1.0hp and 1.5hp models respectively as a part of the early bird promotion.
