Apple Developer Academy Now in Bali, Indonesia – Fourth Academy in the Country

Apple just opened a new Apple Developer Academy in Bali, Indonesia. This is the fourth academy to be launched in the region after the first one in Jakarta, which opened its doors back in 2018. Other academies opened by the Cupertino company within the country include Surabaya and Batam.

Interestingly, the Bali campus of the Apple Developer Academy accepts applications from across the globe regardless of educational background or coding experience. The academy’s nine-month programme covers the basics of coding and other vital areas, including design, marketing, and project management.

“We’ve seen many times over that a line of code can change the world – and in Indonesia, we’re investing in the creativity and skills of people determined to prove it,” said the CEO of Apple himself, Tim Cook. “We’re excited by the growing developer community in Indonesia, and we look forward to investing in the success of even more coders with our fourth academy in the country,” he added.

The first Apple Developer Academy was opened in Brazil, and the programme has grown to more locations around the world. These include the US, Korea, Italy, Saudi Arabia, and of course, Indonesia. In fact, more than 2,000 applicants have completed the programme to date in Indonesia alone.
