Huawei just launched two new products at its Smart Office launch event here in Malaysia. These include the Huawei MateBook 14 powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra processors, as well as the Huawei MatePad 11.5″S PaperMatte Edition with a matte, anti-glare display.

First, pricing. For the Malaysian market, the MateBook 14 is priced at RM4,999 for the base Core Ultra 5 125H model, while the higher-end Core Ultra 7 155H configuration goes for RM5,499. Both variants also feature 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.

Measuring 14.5mm thin with a 1.31kg chassis, the MateBook 14 is certainly a thin and light laptop. It also comes with a 14.2-inch 2880 x 1920 OLED touch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 70Wh battery, and Windows 11 Home out of the box.

As for the MatePad 11.5″S, it runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS 4.2. Priced at RM2,499, it is packed with an 11.5-inch 2800 x 1840 IPS display with 30~144Hz adaptive refresh rate, a Kirin 9000WL processor paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MP selfie shooter, as well as an 8,800mAh battery.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5″S PaperMatte Edition and Huawei MateBook 14 are now available for pre-order in Malaysia. The MatePad 11.5″S comes with pre-order goodies worth up to RM2,046 – including a keyboard cover and Huawei M-Pencil – while the MateBook 14 is bundled with RM1,614 worth of free gifts.
