You Can Still Get the Nintendo Switch OLED for RM1,849 in Malaysia

The Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) is expected to be available globally this Friday on 8 October, and several Malaysian retailers started taking pre-orders for the new console back in July this year. If you haven’t secured a pre-order yet, good news: you can still get it right now.

Preferred+ Shopee retailer Unity Game is currently listing the White colourway of the OLED Switch for RM1,849; this is the lowest price we managed to find from a reputable shop. Unfortunately, the Neon colour option is sold out from Unity Game, though it seems to have quite a lot of stocks for the new White model.

Compared to its predecessor, the new OLED Switch features a larger 7-inch OLED panel with thinner bezels. It also has double the internal storage at 64GB, and the stand sees a design revision as well. Instead of the original Switch’s fragile-looking stand, this new Switch uses a much sturdier, wider stand that is also adjustable.

Other changes introduced in the new OLED Switch include a new dock with a wired LAN port, “enhanced audio” from the system’s onboard speakers, and between 4.5 to 9 hours of battery life – the same quoted battery life as its predecessor.

If you want to get the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model) for RM1,849, you can do so from Unity Game on Shopee. According to the retailer, the new Switch will arrive this Friday on 8 October.
