Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 – 75″ 4K QLED 120Hz Smart TV May Arrive in Malaysia Soon

Now this is quite interesting: there’s a good chance Xiaomi is finally launching (at the very least) one of its Smart TVs here in Malaysia. We have good reason to believe that the Chinese company will be introducing the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 on our shores soon, a 75-inch 4K QLED smart TV with a fast 120Hz refresh rate.

As usual, we were going through SIRIM’s database when we saw a rather peculiar product registered by Xiaomi Malaysia earlier today. Carrying the model number L75M6-ESG, this is none other than the Mi TV Q1, a feature-packed smart TV with excellent value for money.

The headline feature of the Mi TV Q1 has to be its expansive 75-inch 3840 x 2160 QLED panel with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. On top of that, the almost bezel-less design – aside from the small bottom chin – also gives the smart TV a very sleek, modern-looking design. Thanks to the QLED panel, it also meets 100% NTSC and 95% DCI-P3 colour standards.

Aside from that, the Mi TV Q1 runs on Android TV 10 out of the box too, which allows you to download a slew of apps and the ability to cast content to the TV from your mobile device. As for connectivity, it includes a HDMI 2.1 eARC/ALLM input, two HDMI 2.0 port, two USB 2.0 connections, Bluetooth 5.0, and WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz.

For the European market, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1 retails at €1,299, which comes up to about RM6,430. This is a competitive price tag for a smart TV of this calibre, though we don’t know yet when (or if) it will be available here in Malaysia. It’s worth noting, however, that Xiaomi did mention it intends to offer its range of smart TVs locally last year.

Nonetheless, we have contacted Xiaomi Malaysia regarding this – we’ll update this article if we hear back from the company.
