Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Costs RM4,299 in Malaysia – Available for Pre-Order 8 April

Xiaomi’s most ambitious flagship smartphone yet, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, will be available for pre-order here in Malaysia on 8 April. Retailing at RM4,299, it is also not an affordable device, though it does come with a number of intriguing features, including an OLED screen inside the rear camera’s housing.

That’s right, the Mi 11 Ultra’s triple camera system on the back actually has a 1.1-inch 294 x 126 AMOLED panel. According to Xiaomi, this screen can be used as a selfie viewfinder, an always on display, or even a way to check incoming notifications. It’s definitely an intriguing hardware, though it may not be the most practical feature.

Aside from that, the Mi 11 Ultra’s triple camera system itself is quite sophisticated as well. It is made up of a 50MP f/1.95 primary sensor, a 48MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 48MP f/4.1 telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. In fact, this sensor can even do 10x hybrid zoom and 120x digital zoom. On the front, there’s a 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera.

Other specifications of the Mi 11 Ultra include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 6.81-inch 1440p AMOLED screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W wireless and wired charging, as well as an IP68 rating.

For the Malaysian market, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra retails at RM4,299. Without a doubt that is a lot of money, but you do get a pretty intriguing flagship smartphone.
