Xiaomi just unveiled a brand new device under a new series in China. Dubbed Xiaomi Civi, this (naturally) affordable smartphone features a sleek design with a slim chassis.
In fact, the front design of the Civi is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, complete with a dual curved screen and a hole-punch cutout for the 32MP selfie camera. Tipping the scales at 166g with a 6.98mm thin chassis, the Civi is quite a slim and light phone too.
Aside from that, the Civi also has a 6.55-inch 1080p OLED display with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. This high refresh rate screen is paired with a reasonably quick Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, so it should be able to provide a good gaming experience.
Other specifications of the Civi include a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro), 8GB or 12GB of RAM, two storage options (128GB or 256GB), and a 4,500mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging.
For its home market in China, the Xiaomi Civi retails from 2,599 Chinese yuan, which comes up to about RM1,685. It remains to be seen if the Civi will be sold in other markets as well.
