Xiaomi Aims to Open 300 Stores in Malaysia – Currently at 47

Xiaomi just revealed its intention to open as many as 300 stores in Malaysia, which should make it easier for Malaysians to get their hands on the latest Xiaomi products. At the moment, the Chinese company has 47 physical outlets on our shores – 10 of them just started operating today.

To celebrate the launch of these 10 outlets, Xiaomi will be running a number of promotions. The new Xiaomi 11T series, for one, will be offered with a RM200 discount at these outlets on 25 October from 12PM, though this is limited to the first 50 customers at each outlet. Here are the 10 new Xiaomi stores throughout Malaysia:

  • Sunway Velocity, Kuala Lumpur
  • KL East Mall, Kuala Lumpur
  • Giant Hypermarket Bandar Kinrara, Selangor
  • Alor Star Mall, Kedah
  • Kulim Central,  Kedah
  • Kompleks Bukit Jambul, Penang
  • Prangin Mall, Penang
  • Lotus Bertam Kepala Batas, Penang
  • AEON Tebrau City, Johor Bahru, Johor
  • Pusat Perdagangan Mega, Jalan Sakeh, Muar, Johor

“We are excited to be able to open more Xiaomi Stores in Malaysia for more Malaysian customers to truly experience and access Xiaomi’s wide range of quality and affordable products,” said the General Manager of Xiaomi Malaysia and Singapore, Nicolas Shi. “We look forward to providing an enhanced retail and shopping experience for our customers and Xiaomi Fans in our stores,” he added.
