We just got an official invite from Xiaomi Malaysia for the local launch of the brand new Xiaomi 11T series and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE! Set to take place next week, the Chinese company is certainly launching its brand new smartphones here very quickly.
According to the invitation, the launch event is happening on 23 September at 8PM on Xiaomi Malaysia’s Facebook page. Three phones are mentioned in the invite: the standard 11T, the 11T Pro, as well as the most affordable device of the bunch, the 11 Lite 5G NE.
Let’s start with the highest-end phone, the 11T Pro. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, you can expect to get a high level of performance out of this phone. Aside from that, it also features a rather sophisticated camera system made up of a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 5MP telemacro lens.
Other specifications of the 11T Pro include a 6.67-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 120Hz AdaptiveSync, 8GB or 12GB of RAM, two UFS 3.1 storage options (128GB or 256GB), as well as a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W Xiaomi HyperCharge, which can fully charge the phone in only 17 minutes.
As for the more affordable Xiaomi 11T, it’s largely similar to the Pro model, though it does have a number of differences. Instead of a Qualcomm processor, it’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra SoC instead; this is said to be the chipmaker’s best offering to date.
Aside from that, the 11T also features the same display, camera system, and battery capacity as its Pro sibling, though its fast charging capability is limited to 67W.
Last but certainly not least is the 11 Lite 5G NE. It’s powered by a relatively fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, and paired to a 6.55-inch 2400 x 1080 AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate (240Hz touch response rate), it should be a decent smartphone for mobile gaming as well.
Other specifications of the 11 Lite include 6GB or 8GB of RAM, two UFS 2.2 storage options (128GB or 256GB), a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 5MP telephoto), a 20MP selfie camera, 5G connectivity, and as mentioned, a 4,250mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
We’ll find out the exact price and availability of the Xiaomi 11T series and 11 Lite 5G NE for the Malaysian market come next week on 23 September. It remains to be seen if the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet will also make an appearance at the launch event, given that it’s confirmed to be coming to Malaysia.
