If you’re a resident in KL or Selangor who haven’t received a COVID-19 vaccination appointment after 1 August, you will be able to walk-in to selected PPVs to get your vaccination. This is confirmed by the COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) itself on Twitter.
But if you have already received an appointment through the MySejahtera app before 1 August, you will not be eligible for the walk-in COVID-19 vaccination. According to CITF, this initiative is only for those who have not registered for the National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).
CITF further elaborated that registered individuals in KL and Selangor will receive their appointments in the very near future. After all, Operation Surge Capacity – which begins from 26 July onwards – aims to vaccinate all adult residents in the Klang Valley area with their first doses by 1 August.
To reiterate, if you’re a KL or Selangor resident who haven’t received an appointment after 1 August on the MySejahtera app, you can walk into selected PPVs to get your COVID-19 vaccination. Do note that not all PPVs will offer walk-in vaccination – CITF will announce PPVs that do soon.
