If you still haven’t gotten your COVID-19 booster yet, great news: you can walk-in to any PPV throughout Malaysia to get the booster shot from tomorrow onwards (29 January). This is open to anyone above the age of 18.
This was announced by the Ministry of Health (MOH) through a press statement. Of course, in order to be eligible for a COVID-19 booster, it has to be three months since you’ve received your second dosage of the vaccine. These include Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac; the three main vaccines administered in Malaysia.
To ensure a smooth vaccination process, make sure that your MySejahtera app shows your complete vaccination certificate. As for those that don’t have a smartphone, bring along your physical vaccination card instead.
Want to find the nearest PPV that offers a COVID-19 booster shot? You can do so over here. If you want to get a booster shot at a clinic instead, MOH advises to give the clinic a call first to get an appointment to avoid overcrowding.
