Vivo just launched a new mid-range smartphone in Malaysia, the Vivo V25. One of the phone’s most unique features is back panel, which changes colour accordingly when exposed to UV light. While it’s not the first phone to implement this design, it’s certainly a unique feature.
For the Malaysian market, only one variant of the V25 is offered. Sporting 8GB of RAM and 256GB of expandable storage, the mid-ranger is priced at RM1,799. Three colour options are available: Aquamarine Blue (exclusive to Malaysia), Sunrise Gold, and Diamond Black.
For that kind of money, the V25 has a modest set of hardware. These include a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, a 6.44-inch 1080p 90Hz OLED display, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
The Vivo V25 can now be purchased in Malaysia for RM1,799. If you want a phone with a unique colour-changing design, the V25 is worth a consideration.
