The DJI Mavic 3 Classic is essentially a more affordable alternative to the higher-end Mavic 3. Beyond the absence of the 12MP telephoto lens, it has the same features as the more expensive drone, including the same battery life (up to 46 minutes), D-Log, and Night Mode.
For the Malaysian market, the Mavic 3 Classic is currently listed from RM6,879. As for the more capable Mavic 3, it starts at a cool RM9,799 – that’s almost a RM3,000 price difference. Given that the only big differentiator between the two drones is the 12MP telephoto camera, you can save up quite a bit of money with the Classic if you don’t need that lens.
