Oppo looks to be bringing in a new tablet to the Malaysian market, and it’s a product that hasn’t been officially announced yet. Enter the Oppo Pad Air, which is believed to be a mid-range offering.
While we were going through SIRIM’s database, we noticed that the Oppo Pad Air was registered with the certification body on 13 May. Electronics have to be registered with SIRIM first before they can be sold locally, so chances are, Oppo Malaysia is gearing up to launch the tablet on our shores.

Given that the Pad Air has not been launched yet, details on the tablet are light. But based on leaked information, the Pad Air will supposedly feature a 10.36-inch Full HD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s also said to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 7,100mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
No word yet on the launch date of the Oppo Air Pad, so it remains to be seen exactly when the mid-range tablet will arrive in Malaysia. Rest assured, we will keep a close eye on the local availability of the Pad Air.
