It appears HMD Global is set to launch another phone in Malaysia, and it’s a device that has not been officially announced yet. Enter the Nokia G11 Plus, which looks to be an improved version of the standard G11.
While going through SIRIM’s database, we spotted a device with the model number TA-1421 registered under Zitron Fulfilment just last week on 24 June. The listing confirmed it to be a Nokia-branded phone, and a quick Google search revealed that this is in fact the upcoming Nokia G11 Plus.

Compared to the regular G11, the G11 Plus is said to feature a more sophisticated 50MP camera. It’s also rumoured to be running on Android 12 instead of 11, though other alleged specifications of the new phone is said to be similar to the G11, including the same Unisoc T606 chipset.
Now that the Nokia G11 Plus have been registered with SIRIM, we reckon HMD Global is gearing up to launch the new phone in Malaysia very soon. We’ll keep a close eye on the local availability of this (likely) affordable smartphone.
