Acer just launched two new thin and light productivity laptops in Malaysia, the Acer Swift 14 and Swift 14 Go. Curiously, the Swift 14 features Intel’s latest 13th gen processor, while the Swift 14 Go is packed with AMD hardware.
Out of the two laptops, the Swift 14 is the higher-end model. Retailing from RM4,299, it can be configured with a Core i7-13700H or Core i5-13500H processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD storage, a 14-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS touch-enabled display, and a 14.95mm thin chassis that tips the scales at 1.2kg.
As for the more affordable Swift 14 Go, it starts at RM3,199. Compared to the Swift 14, this laptop is actually a tad thinner at 14.9mm, though it is also ever so slightly heavier at 1.25kg. It also features an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U or Ryzen 5 5730U processor with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, a 14-inch Full HD IPS display, and Windows 11 out of the box, just like the Swift 14.
Both the Acer Swift 14 and Swift 14 Go will be available in Malaysia by the end of April 2023 this month from RM4,299 and RM3,199 respectively. It’s worth noting that the two laptops also come with Microsoft Office Home & Student 2021 out of the box.
