The Owlab Spring Keyboard Looks Amazing – In-Stock Sale in February 2022 From $355

Owlab is back with yet another keyboard after the Jelly Epoch and Mr. Suit. This time around, the brand is going with a more unique layout: enter the Owlab Spring. Not only does it have a split layout, it’s also more affordable than the company’s previous keyboards.

Starting from only $355 (about RM1,495), the Spring is priced lower than Owlab’s previous offerings. Of course, that’s still a lot of money, but you are getting a sleek-looking keyboard. Just look at the PVD stainless steel weight on the bottom of the Spring.

As its name suggests, the Spring uses a leaf spring mounting system: there are eight pieces of Owlab’s leaf springs (made out of Beryllium copper) that support the plate of the keyboard. Theoretically, this should make for a soft, comfortable typing experience.

Other specifications of the Spring include an aluminium case, a hotswap or solderable PCB, four choices of plate material (aluminium, FR4, polycarbonate, POM), as well as an LED indicator on the bottom left of the keyboard. Every unit of the Spring are also bundled with the brand’s “Owlstabs” stabilisers and a carrying case.

The Owlab Spring will go on sale sometime in February 2022 next month with a $355 starting price. Just like the company’s previous keyboards, it will be sold as an in-stock product on a first-come, first-served basis. More details on the Spring and its sale can be found here.
