There’s no denying that MSI makes some of the best PC hardware, and the latest MSI Spatium M570 Pro showcased here at Computex 2023 exemplifies that. Not only is it a very, very fast PCIe 5.0 SSD, it also features a built-in fan for improved thermal performance.
Two variants of the Spatium M570 Pro are offered. There’s the Frozr version with a massive passively-cooled heatsink, and the Frozr+ model with the aforementioned built-in fan – more specifically, an MSI Torx 5.0 fan – and ARGB lighting for even better thermals.
Despite the different cooling solution, both variants of the Spatium M570 Pro offers the same level of performance. In MSI’s testing with the CrystalDiskMark benchmark tool, the Spatium M570 Pro can go up to 14,200MBps in sequential reads, while sequential write speeds are recorded at 12,000MBps.
In Raid 0 configuration, the Spatium M570 Pro records even higher speeds. As shown by MSI at its booth in Computex 2023, the SSD can do up to 22GBps sequential reads and 23GBps sequential writes while it’s running in Raid 0. That is incredibly fast.
Given the high level of performance that the MSI Spatium M570 Pro brings, it won’t come cheap, though MSI has not revealed the pricing of the SSD yet. We’ll find out once it is launched sometime in Q3 2023 in three different capacities: 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB.
