This might just be Acer’s coolest desktop yet – literally and figuratively. Enter the Acer Predator Orion X: a compact, liquid-cooled desktop with some powerful hardware, along with an interesting design for easy disassembly.
The Predator Orion X has three distinct zones, which can all be popped out easily with a lever system on the front of the machine. The left side of the case houses a liquid-cooled GPU that maxes out at an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, while the right compartment houses an Intel Core i9-13900KS processor; also liquid-cooled. The top part, on the other hand, feature two fans.
It’s really quite impressive that the Orion X has such beefy hardware in a compact chassis, and it’ll be interesting to see just how effective its liquid cooling solution is. Anyway, the whole system weighs only 9kg as well, so if you ever need to move it around, you can easily do so.
Although the Acer Predator Orion X is introduced today, it will only hit the market sometime in September 2023. As for pricing, it’s set to retail at a cool $2,999 – that comes up to about RM13,310. No word yet on the Malaysian availability of the Orion X.
