Sony Xperia 10 V Is a Lightweight, Water-Resistant Snapdragon 695 Phone for RM2,199

Introduced alongside the higher-end Xperia 1 V is the more affordable Sony Xperia 10 V. At a glance, it is strikingly similar to its predecessor, though it does feature a new primary camera with a slightly lighter chassis.

Here in Malaysia, the Xperia 10 V features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage for RM2,199. It is also available in two distinct colours: Lavender and Black. Unfortunately, it appears the Sage Green and White colourways will not be offered here.

Tipping the scales at only 159g, it’s quite impressive that Sony still managed to pack in a 5,000mAh battery into the Xperia 10 V. It also has a 48MP primary camera now, which is complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens.

Rounding out the specifications of the Xperia 10 V are a 6.1-inch 1080p OLED display with a 21:9 aspect ratio and standard 60Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, an 8MP selfie camera, as well as IP65/68 dust and water resistance.

The Xperia 10 V will be available in Malaysia in early August 2023 for RM2,199. Quite pricey for a mid-range phone, to be sure, though you do get a lightweight device for that kind of money.
