Aside from the flagship Xperia 1 IV, Sony also introduced the more affordable Sony Xperia 10 IV. Touted as the world’s lightest 5G phone, it tips the scales at only 161g. That’s quite impressive, given that it also sports a sizeable 5,000mAh battery.
Of course, just like its predecessor, the Xperia 10 IV has an IP65/IP68 water and dust resistance; quite a rare feature for a mid-range smartphone. It also features Sony’s signature 21:9 tall and narrow display for easier one-handed use.

Other specifications of the Xperia 10 IV include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 6.0-inch 2520 x 1080 OLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (12MP primary + 8MP telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide angle), an 8MP selfie camera, 6GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and Android 12 out of the box.
The Sony Xperia 10 IV will be available in selected markets sometime in mid-June next month for 499 euro (about RM2,305). Sony Malaysia already has a product page for the Xperia 10 IV, and it’s said to be “available soon” on our shores.
