It hasn’t even been a week since the launch of the Sony WH-1000XM5, yet the Japanese company is introducing yet another new audio product. Enter the Sony LinkBuds S, which is touted as the smallest, lightest wireless earbuds with ANC, and it will be available in Malaysia next month on 7 June.
Available in three colours (White, Black, Ecru), the LinkBuds S is set to go for RM929 in Malaysia. For that kind of money, you’re getting a really lightweight pair of earbuds: each earpiece weighs only 4.8g, and Sony said that the LinkBuds S is designed to “perfectly match the human ear with an ergonomic design for a more stable fit.”

Of course, the LinkBuds S also has ANC (active noise cancellation). When you need to hear the outside world, you can activate the ambient sound mode. Sporting a new 5mm driver unit, the LinkBuds S is said to be able to deliver “powerful bass and crystal clear vocals” too. As for battery life, it can last up to 6 hours on a single charge with ANC activated; 20 hours total with the charging case.
The Sony LinkBuds S will be available for purchase in Malaysia next month on 7 June. If you want a comfortable, lightweight wireless earbuds with ANC, it’s certainly worth considering.
