We previously reported that ShopeeFood, a new food delivery service, will be available right here in Malaysia sometime this month. Well, Shopee just put up a registration page for eateries to sign up to the service, so there’s a good chance the Malaysian debut of ShopeeFood is still on track.
This registration page for ShopeeFood was first spotted by Amanz. According to the page, a wide range of vendors can sign up to the food delivery service. These include restaurants, cafes, bars, food trucks, and even hawker stalls.
Once ShopeeFood is available in Malaysia, the service will be directly implemented into the Shopee app. But based on our previous report, ShopeeFood appears to be only limited to Klang Valley at the moment.
Given the current COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia, it’s more important now than ever for food delivery services to be available. More information on ShopeeFood can be found here. You can also sign up to the food delivery service through this form.
