Shopee Working Together With Brick-and-Mortar Businesses For Its 12.12 Birthday Sale

For Shopee’s 12.12 Birthday Sale, the e-commerce platform is working with a number of brick-and-mortar businesses, which are adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. In light of this, Shopee is engaging over 1,000 of these offline businesses to offer a number of products.

Brick-and-mortar businesses Shopee has roped in for the 12.12 Birthday Sale include FamilyMart, Starbucks, Gong Cha, TGV Cinemas, and even MBO Cinemas. Among the items that can be purchased on Shopee from these businesses include merchandise, set deals, and even cash vouchers.

Of course, as with all of Shopee’s sale events, a number of promotions will also be running throughout the 12.12 Birthday Sale. From now until 12 December, the minimum spend to be eligible for free shipping will be reduced to only RM12. Aside from that, there will be RM1 deals as part of the platform’s Shocking Sale.

There’s also a rather interesting game called Shopee Kotak Duit, which offers shoppers a chance to win up to a whopping RM12,000. According to Shopee, two winners have already walked away with that amount of money. To join the Kotak Duit game, you just need to get a unique code through the Shopee app, and tune in to the Shopee Live event – from Monday to Thursday – to see if your code is chosen.

Naturally, there will be special Kotak Duit sessions on 11 and 12 December as well.

Shopee’s 12.12 Birthday Sale is currently ongoing, with the best deals happening on 12 December itself. More details on the sale event can be found right here. You can also download the Shopee app on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
