ShopBack just launched its very own buy now, pay later (BNPL) service in Malaysia. Dubbed ShopBack PayLater, the new feature comes after the company’s acquisition of Hoolah, a BNPL platform.
Of course, ShopBack PayLater is built into the ShopBack app itself, and it allows users to split their payments into three zero-interest monthly instalments. PayLater transactions are also instantly approved, though your initial spending limit will depend on your spending history.
In our experience, the initial spending limit for PayLater can be anywhere between RM1,600 to RM4,000.

At the moment, ShopBack PayLater is offered at over 2,000 online merchants, including JD Sports, Zalora, Malaysia Airlines, Royal Sporting House, Jakel Malaysia, and more. The BNPL service is also available at physical retail stores if you prefer that over online shopping.
To celebrate the launch of ShopBack PayLater, new users can get 25% off on their first PayLater bill, though the discount is capped at RM25. To start using ShopBack’s new BNPL feature, you can download the app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
