The Redmi Note 10 series is official, and two of the devices in the lineup – the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro – will be coming to Malaysia next week. Starting at RM699, these mid-range smartphones offer really good value for money.
Let’s start with the most impressive phone in the series, the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Two variants of the phone will be offered here: the 6GB + 128GB model retails at RM999, while the 8GB + 128GB configuration costs RM1,099. For that kind of money, you’re getting a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a fast 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset, and a large 5,020mAh battery.
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 10 Pro features a quad camera system made up of a 108MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 5MP telemacro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has a 16MP selfie camera.
As for the more affordable Redmi Note 10, it retails at RM699 for the 64GB model with 4GB of RAM, while the more practical 128GB variant with 6GB of RAM costs RM799. Given its more affordable price tag, the Redmi Note 10’s hardware are not quite as impressive as the Pro model, though it still comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen.
Other specifications of the Redmi Note 10 include a Snapdragon 678 chipset, a quad camera system (48MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro + 2MP depth), a 13MP selfie camera, and a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, just like the Pro model.
The Redmi Note 10 will be available in Malaysia first on 8 March, while the Redmi Note 10 Pro will go on sale here slightly later on 15 March. We will be receiving the Pro model for review soon, so stay tuned for our hands-on of the mid-range smartphone!
