Realme just launched another entry-level smartphone, the Realme C12. Given its budget-friendly positioning, the C12 doesn’t exactly have very impressive hardware, though it does come with a very generous 6,000mAh battery. On top of that, it’s also set to arrive here in Malaysia next week.
As mentioned, the Realme C12 features a sizeable 6,000mAh battery, so without a doubt you will get excellent battery life with this smartphone. After all, not many devices are equipped with such a large battery capacity. If you’re a light smartphone user, we reckon you can comfortably get two days of use on a single charge.
Aside from that, the C12 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. Thanks to the fact that it’s fabricated on a 12nm process, it’s a power-efficient chip. This complements the generous battery capacity of the phone very well to further improve the battery life.
In the camera department, the Realme C12 has a triple camera system, which consists of a 13MP f/2.2 primary camera, a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome lens, and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro shooter. Judging from the camera hardware, it’s not very sophisticated, but it’s expected for an entry-level smartphone.
Other specifications of the C12 include a 6.5-inch 1560 x 720 notched screen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, a 5MP f/2.0 front camera, and a rear fingerprint sensor.
The Realme C12 is set to be launched in Malaysia next week on 25 August. Naturally, its local pricing has not been revealed yet, but it is listed at 1,899,000 Indonesian rupiah (about RM535) in Indonesia. We’ll find out next week exactly how much the C12 will cost here.
