Realme C12 Launched in Malaysia for RM529

The entry-level Realme C12 has just been launched in Malaysia. With an affordable price tag, a very generous 6,000mAh, as well as a reasonably sleek device, it’s ideal for those that want a long-lasting, budget-friendly smartphone.

For the Malaysian market, the Realme C12 retails at RM529; a pair of Realme Buds Classic earphones is also bundled with the phone. Only a single variant of the device is available, which features 32GB of internal storage – which is further expandable with a microSD card – and 3GB of RAM. Good capacities for an entry-level smartphone.

Of course, for that kind of money, the Realme C12 doesn’t have particularly impressive hardware, but it does come with a sizeable 6,000mAh battery. Thanks to this large battery capacity, this phone should be able to return impressive battery life. In fact, if you’re a light smartphone user, you can expect to comfortably get two days of use on a single charge.

Other specifications of the C12 include a 6.5-inch 1560 x 720 notched screen, a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, a triple camera system (13MP f/2.2 primary + 2MP f/2.4 monochrome + 2 MP f/2.4 macro), a 5MP f/2.0 front-facing camera, and a rear fingerprint sensor. Basically, decent hardware for a phone at this price point.

The Realme C12 will be available for purchase in Malaysia later today on Lazada for RM529 with a Realme Buds Classic bundled together. If you want to get it from a physical retail store instead, you can do so from 31 August onwards.
