Realme just launched yet another affordable phone in Malaysia, the Realme 9i. Featuring the new Snapdragon 680 chipset, this budget-friendly device also has a reasonably fast 90Hz display.
Two variants of the Realme 9i are offered in Malaysia. The base model with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM costs RM799, while the 6GB RAM model (with the same 128GB internal storage) costs RM869. The former will only be available at a later date, while the 128GB + 6GB configuration will go on sale later today at 5PM on Shopee.
To sweeten the deal, the first 500 customers to purchase the phone will get a free Realme Buds Air 2 Neo wireless earbuds worth RM169 as well.
Powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset, the Realme 9i should be able to offer a good level of performance for everyday use. On top of that, it’s also built on a 6nm process, which promises better power efficiency. Paired with the phone’s generous 5,000mAh with support for 33W fast charging, expect the phone to return above average battery life.
Other specifications of the Realme 9i include a 6.6-inch 1080p LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 4MP macro + 2MP black and white portrait), a 16MP selfie camera, and a microSD card slot.
To recap, the Realme 9i (128GB + 6GB) will go on sale in Malaysia later today at 5PM on Shopee for RM869. The more affordable 128GB + 4GB variant, on the other hand, will be introduced here at a later date for RM799.
