Curiously, aside from the standard PS5 – which retails at RM2,299 – there is also a separate bundle of the next generation console with another DualSense controller included. This particular bundle retails at RM2,648, so that’s a RM349 price difference – the same cost as a DualSense controller, basically.
As usual, the PS5 is limited to only one unit per customer, and the pre-order is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. While it wasn’t mentioned by Sony Malaysia, we reckon stocks are very limited.
If you’re keen to get in on this round of pre-orders for the PlayStation 5, we recommend checking with your favourite retailer. Better yet, get into the waiting list if the store has one – you’ll have a higher chance of securing a PS5 that way.
