The Proton X90 was launched here just last month, and it looks like the premium D-segment SUV is pretty well-received by Malaysians. Over 5,000 bookings have been placed for the new model, and 500 units have already been delivered to customers.
These details were revealed by the deputy CEO of Proton, Roslan Abdullah, at the launch of the Proton DX centre. He also added that the waiting period of the SUV is now less than six months, and more units are expected to be delivered next month in July 2023.

To recap, the X90 starts RM123,800 for the base Standard variant, while the Executive model goes for RM130,800. Another tier up is the Premium trim for RM144,800, while the range-topping Flagship variant carries a RM152,800 price tag.
At these price points, the Proton X90 undercuts its competition by quite a bit as a premium D-segment SUV, which explains the popularity of the new model. Hopefully, waiting period for the X90 will be further improved in the coming months.
