Proton is the latest carmaker to offer assistance to those affected by the recent floods. If your Proton was damaged by the floods, you can get discounts on parts, labour, towing, and even cleaning charges.
The 20% discount will be given for selected parts and labour charges, though Proton customers that want to enjoy this savings are required to make a police report regarding the flooding incident. On top of that, towing charges up to RM200 and cleaning charges (exterior and engine bay) up to RM100 will also be borne by the national carmaker.
“Many of our customers have seen their homes and businesses damaged by flood waters and this extends to their cars as well. Therefore, Proton would like to offer a helping hand to get them back on the road and show our customers they are our main priority,” said the CEO of Proton Edar, Roslan Abdullah.
“Exceptional circumstances require an exceptional response. Proton will be working hard to ensure we can repair cars as quickly as possible and advise all affected customers to visit our authorised service centers to enjoy these benefits,” he added.
