PRISM+ just expanded its product lineup here in Malaysia with two brand new Android TVs. The PRISM+ Q series 4K TVs – made up of the Q65-QE and Q55-QE – are now available for pre-order locally, and they offer some compelling features with excellent value for money.
Take the Q65-QE: not only does it feature an expansive 65-inch Quantum IPS 3840 x 2160 panel – yes, it uses quantum dot technology for even brighter and vibrant colours – it’s quite affordable too with a RM2,999 price tag. That’s right, this 65-inch 4K Android TV retails at only RM2,999.
If you want a smaller 4K TV, there’s the Q55-QE with a 55-inch screen instead for only RM2,299. Aside from the smaller panel, it has the same feature set as the Q65-QE.
As mentioned, the Q65-QE and Q55-QE feature quantum dot backlight. According to PRISM+, this allows the two TVs to produce 1.07 billion colours. Of course, both TVs meet the HDR10 standard as well, and the IPS panel offers wide viewing angles too.
Given that the Q65-QE and Q55-QE run on Android TV, you’ll have access to over 500 apps on the Google Play Store. You can also cast content to the TV from your mobile device, not to mention the ability to use voice commands via Google Assistant with the provided remote.
“With more time being spent at home, many consumers look to level up their on-screen entertainment but are not willing to splurge on Android TVs,” said the Country Director of PRISM+ Malaysia, Eric Kam. “As the availability of Android TVs has increased significantly, we can now offer industry-standard Android TVs at a lower price point to cater to such consumers,” he added.
The PRISM+ Q65-QE and Q55-QE are now available for pre-order in Malaysia on the company’s own online store and Lazada. Early birds who place their pre-orders for the Q65-QE will also receive RM121.90 worth of freebies, including two HDMI cables (a 3m cable and an L-shaped cable), a screen cleaner, and a three-month WeTV VIP subscription.
As for the Q55-QE, it will be bundled with the two HDMI cables and a three-month WeTV VIP subscription; these are worth RM71.90. Of course, both TVs come with a two-year onsite warranty too: it covers parts, accessories, servicing, and customer service support is also available every day. Yes, even on weekends.
Both the Q65-QE and Q55-QE will start shipping to costumers from 20 July onwards in Malaysia. We received the Q65-QE for review as well, so stay tuned for our impressions of the affordable 65-inch 4K Android TV!
