Poco X3 GT Arrives in Malaysia 28 July

After appearing in SIRIM’s database last month, the Poco X3 GT finally receives an official launch date here in Malaysia. Set to be unveiled next week on 28 July, expect it to be another affordable Poco-branded mid-range smartphone.

Unfortunately, beyond the launch date, no specifications of the Poco X3 GT were revealed. However, based on previous leaks and rumours, it’s believed to be the global variant of the China-only Redmi Note 10 Pro.

Now, despite sporting the exact same name, it’s worth noting that this is a different device from the Redmi Note 10 Pro that was launched in Malaysia back in March. Anyway, if the Poco X3 GT is in fact the global variant of the China Redmi Note 10 Pro, it should be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

Other probable specifications of the Poco X3 GT include a 6.6-inch 1080p IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (64MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP macro), a 16MP selfie camera, up to 256GB of internal storage, and a generous 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

We’ll find out exactly what the Poco X3 GT has to offer once it is launched here in Malaysia next week on 28 July. The online launch event will begin at 8PM that day on Poco Malaysia’s Facebook page.
