Poco’s latest smartphone is here, and it’s quite an intriguing budget-friendly device. Not only does the Poco M3 come with a very generous 6,000mAh battery, it also sports a rather interesting back design with a competitive price tag.
For the Malaysian market, the Poco M3 is offered in two variants. The base model features 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM for RM599, while the 128GB option – also with 4GB RAM – costs RM699. Early birds can save RM100 on either one of these two variants from Lazada this Friday on 27 November.
Design wise, the Poco M3 certainly looks quite unique with an “anti-fingerprint” textured back. It mimics the appearance of leather – though it doesn’t feel like leather at all, since it’s plastic – and the camera module, while quite sizeable, certainly gives the phone a unique aesthetic.
Other specifications of the Poco M3 include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset, a 6.53-inch 1080p notched screen, a triple camera system (48MP f/1.79 primary + 2MP f/2.4 macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth), an 8MP f/2.05 selfie camera, a huge 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Poco M3 will go on sale this Friday on 27 November from Xiaomi’s official global store on Lazada. The 64GB model costs RM599 (RM499 for early birds), while the 128GB variant goes for RM699 (RM599 for early buyers).
