PlayStation Plus Price Increase: 1-Month & 3-Month Plans Also Affected in Malaysia

Well, it looks like there’s a price increase across the board for all PlayStation Plus plans in Malaysia. Previously, only the 12-month plan sees a price revision, but it appears even the 1-month and 3-month plans are affected now.

This was revealed by PlayStation itself in a revised blog post. While the price increase for the 1-month and 3-month plans are not as drastic as the 12-month memberships’, it’s still a noticeable difference. The biggest one being the 3-month plan for PlayStation Plus Deluxe, which sees a RM15 increase.

It’s worth noting that the price revision for the 1-month and 3-month PlayStation Plus plans are only applicable to Malaysia and Thailand, as outlined by PlayStation. Of course, despite the price revision, it is still more cost-effective to get the 12-month subscription of PlayStation Plus.

Previously, it was confirmed that the new pricing for the PlayStation Plus 12-month memberships will go into effect tomorrow on 6 September 2023. However, it remains to be seen if the same would be true for the new 1-month and 3-month plans – we’ll update this space once we have more information.
