Oppo Find X5 Also Unveiled With MariSilicon X, Sony IMX766 Sensor, 80W SuperVOOC Charging

Launched alongside the higher-end Find X5 Pro is the more affordable Oppo Find X5. Sporting the same MariSilicon X imaging NPU as the former, the standard Find X5 should be able to deliver comparable camera performance (especially in low light 4K videos) in a more modest-looking design.

However, the Find X5 is still very much a premium phone powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It also offers the same Sony IMX766 sensor found in the Pro model for the 50MP primary and 50MP ultra-wide angle shooters, along with a 13MP telephoto lens and a 32MP selfie camera.

Given the Hasselblad branding on the back of the Find X5, it should feature the Hasselblad Natural Colour Calibration in the camera’s Pro Mode for…well, more accurate colour reproduction.

Other specifications of the regular Find X5 include a 6.5-inch 1080p OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,800mAh battery with fast 80W SuperVOOC charging, and a more “understated, yet ultra-premium finish, with frosted, matte glass and fingerprint-resistant chassis,” as Oppo puts it.

Just like the Pro model, it remains to be seen exactly when the Oppo Find X5 will be available in Malaysia, though we reckon it will be sold on our shores in due time.
