OnePlus has been relatively quiet in the Malaysian market, so it’s quite refreshing to see the company launch two smartphones on our shores, including the OnePlus Nord 2T. Sporting a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset with a rather sleek-looking design, it’s quite an interesting upper mid-range phone.
Two variants of the OnePlus Nord 2T are offered in Malaysia. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage goes for RM1,899, while the more generous 12GB + 256GB configuration is priced at RM2,099. As for colour options, the 128GB model is only offered in Jade Fog, while the 256GB variant is available in Grey Shadow.
Other specifications of the Nord 2T include a 6.43-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple camera system (50MP primary + 8MP ultra-wide angle + 2MP mono), a 32MP selfie camera, a 4,500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, and OxygenOS based 12.1 on Android 12 out of the box.
The OnePlus Nord 2T will be available for purchase in Malaysia from 19 July onwards. To recap, the 8GB + 128GB base model in Jade Fog costs RM1,899, while the 12GB + 256GB configuration in Grey Shadow goes for RM2,099.
