The MySejahtera app will be receiving a new update tonight, which will make it easier to assess the risk level and vaccination status of a user. This will allow for premises to quickly verify whether a person is fully vaccinated or not, among other things.
This was confirmed by the Minister of Heath, Khairy Jamaluddin, who also shared a number of screenshots of how the new user interface would look like. With the new update, your risk level and vaccination status will be displayed the moment you open the MySejahtera app.
On top of that, the last location you checked in will be shown as well. If you’ve caught COVID-19 (or you’re considered to be high risk), the app will have a bright red indication to signify this. After you’ve checked in to a location, your risk level and vaccination status will (again) be displayed too.
According to Khairy, more updates will be pushed to the MySejahtera app for other improvements in the coming weeks. At the time of writing, the new update is not available yet, though we reckon it will go live by tomorrow.
