New Dell XPS Lineup Unveiled Ahead of CES 2024 – Intel Core Ultra Chips, Up to RTX 4070

Dell just showed off its new XPS lineup ahead of CES 2024. Now consisting of the XPS 13, XPS 14, and XPS 16, these new laptops are naturally powered by Intel’s latest Core Ultra chips. It’s also worth noting that the new XPS 13 is actually the revamped XPS 13 Plus.

With that in mind, these new XPS laptops have some design elements of the XPS 13 Plus, including the illuminated capacitive function keys above the keyboard. Of course, the “seamless glass touchpad” is here too, for better or worse. While it does give the laptop a unique aesthetic, it’s finicky to use in our review of the XPS 13 Plus, though it’s entirely possible Dell has made some improvements.

Hardware wise, the XPS 13, XPS 14, and XPS 16 are all equipped with InfinityEdge OLED panels with optional touch support and varying Intel Core Ultra chips. The XPS 14 and XPS 16 can also be configured with discrete Nvidia GPUs, maxing out at an RTX 4050 and RTX 4070 respectively. Only integrated graphics for the XPS 13, as usual.

The Dell XPS 13 is set to retail from $1,299, which comes up to about RM6,045. The XPS 14, on the other hand, starts at $1,699 (approximately RM7,905). As for the highest-end XPS 16, it is priced from $1,899 (around RM8,835). At the time of writing, it remains to be seen exactly when the new XPS laptops will be available for purchase in Malaysia or other markets.
