The MySejahtera app was recently updated with a check out button, which requires user to utilise the new feature whenever they leave a particular premise or location. But what if you’ve forgotten to check out? Well, worry not: it’s just confirmed that you’ll be automatically checked out when you check in to a new location.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Health (MOH) itself on Twitter. If you need to visit several locations in a short period of time, you’ll definitely appreciate this automatic check out. That being said, as the check out feature was implemented for better contract tracing, it’s highly recommended to check out whenever you leave a location.
Aside from the check out button, the MySejahtera app was also updated to more prominently show the risk level and vaccination status of a user. This makes it much easier for premises to quickly verify whether a person is fully vaccinated or not, among other things.
But oddly enough, at the time of writing, the latest MySejahtera update is only available on the Apple App Store and Huawei AppGallery. The Google Play Store does not have the new update yet, so keep this in mind if you’re not seeing the new check out button on you Android device.
