MTG’s Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate Coming 10 June

Wizards of the Coast is releasing a new set for Magic: The Gathering. Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate will be available next week on 10 June, and it’s a crossover between MTG and the popular role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons (D&D).

Battle for Baldur’s Gate is a set specifically designed to be drafted, and true to the lore of Baldur’s Gate, the Rulebook frames make a return. Certain Mythic Rare Planeswalkers, artifacts, and creatures will also receive the Borderless frame treatment, as you can see below.

To celebrate the release of Battle for Baldur’s Gate, Wizards is offering a customised branded dice case, which is exclusive to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Philippines. To get the case, you’ll have to purchase a Battle for Baldur’s Gate Collector Booster Box from participating WPN (Wizards Play Network) stores.

MTG’s Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur’s Gate will be released on 10 June 2022. It is available in Draft, Set, and Collector Boosters, along with Precon Commander Decks, Prerelease pack, and a special Commander Legends Bundle that contains an oversized D20.

If you want to pre-order the new set, check with your favourite local game store!
