MSI’s most premium laptop yet seems to be making its way to Malaysia. Enter the MSI Creator Z16, a slim, high-end laptop with some pretty beefy hardware under the hood, including Intel’s latest Tiger Lake-H processors and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU.
While we were going through SIRIM’s database, we noticed that both Ingram Micro Malaysia and VSTECS Astar recently registered the Creator Z16 with the certification body. This suggests that the laptop will be made available in Malaysia soon – all electronics have to be registered with SIRIM first before they can be officially sold here.
Even though the Creator Z16 is marketed as a machine for content creators, it can easily double as a gaming laptop, thanks to the RTX 3060 GPU under the hood. It can also be configured with a Core i7-11800H or Core i9-11900H processor; two very capable chips that will be able to meet the demand of most users.
Other specifications of the Creator Z16 include a sharp 16-inch 2560 x 1600 IPS screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 16:10 aspect ratio – perfect for productivity tasks – up to 32GB of RAM, three NVMe SSD storage options (512GB, 1TB, 2GB), as well as a very generous 90Wh battery packed into a 15.9mm slim chassis.
No word yet on the Malaysian availability of the MSI Creator Z16, but given that it has been registered with SIRIM already, we reckon it will make its local debut very soon.
