Mihoyo dropped a rather big teaser: the developer just confirmed two characters coming to Genshin Impact. These include Gorou – who already appeared in the Inazuma storyline – and a brand new character, Arataki Itto.
Chances are, these two characters will be playable in Version 2.3 of Genshin Impact. After all, previous characters that were teased by Mihoyo were eventually playable in the next version update. These include Thoma, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Kujou Sara, and of course, the Raiden Shogun herself.
As with Genshin Impact’s previous teasers, the rarity of Itto and Gorou have not been revealed yet. But the teasers did confirm that both of them are Geo characters – Gorou looks to be a bow user, while Itto seems to be a wielding a claymore.
This is our own educated guess at this point in time, but there is a very good chance that both Arataki Itto and Gorou will be playable in Version 2.3 of Genshin Impact. The new update should be released towards the end of November 2021, so expect these two characters to make their respective debuts then.
