The extremely lightweight Logitech G Pro X Superlight gaming mouse seems to be arriving in Malaysia very soon. Introduced globally just last month, the Superlight will cost RM649 on our shores – a premium price tag for an equally premium gaming mouse.
We first spotted the Malaysian pricing of the G Pro X Superlight on Logitech’s official Malaysian website. The gaming mouse is said to cost RM649 here, though the exact local availability has not been revealed yet. It’s worth noting that at this price point, the Superlight is actually slightly more affordable than the original asking price of Logitech’s other high-end, lightweight gaming mouse, the G Pro Wireless (RM669).
For that kind of money, you do get a very impressive mouse. The G Pro X Superlight tips the scales at 63g, but you can actually remove the magnetic plate on the bottom of the mouse to reduce the weight to only 60g. It also has much larger “zero-additive” PTFE feet (in comparison to the G Pro Wireless) for a smoother glide, along with up to 70 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Besides that, the G Pro X Superlight also uses the same sensor as the G Pro Wireless, which is still considered to be one of the best wireless gaming mice in the market now. However, compared to the latter, the Superlight does exclude a number of features. It doesn’t have as much LED lighting, the DPI button on the bottom of the mouse has been removed, and it no longer has the modular, removable buttons on the right side of the mouse for left-handed gamers.
To recap, the Logitech G Pro X Superlight retails at RM649 in Malaysia. We’ve reached out to Logitech to confirm exactly when the lightweight gaming mouse will be available for purchase locally; we’ll update this article accordingly once we hear back from the company.
