Last week, we wrote about the Malaysian availability of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i and Duet 7i. Today, Lenovo officially launched these two products on our shores, along with the AMD version of the Yoga Slim 7. If you want a thin and light productivity laptop with a Ryzen 4000 processor, consider this new laptop.
For the Malaysian market, only one variant of the AMD-powered Yoga Slim 7 is offered here. It comes with a 14-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS screen, a Ryzen 5 4500U processor paired with 8GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and AMD Radeon Graphics. How much does these hardware cost? RM3,499 – not a bad price at all for a thin and light productivity laptop.
Speaking of which, one of the best features of the Yoga Slim 7 – as its name suggests – has to be its portable nature. Measuring only 14.9mm thin with a 1.4kg chassis, it’s made for folks who are always on the go. You can easily slip this into your backpack and forget about it.
Aside from that, the Yoga Slim 7 is said to offer very long battery life as well; Lenovo claims that it can last up to 19 hours on a single charge. It’s certainly a very lofty estimate, and it’ll be interesting to see if Lenovo’s claim holds up in real life usage.
According to Lenovo, the Yoga Slim 7 is now available for purchase on Lenovo’s online store for RM3,499, though it is out of stock at the time of writing. You can check the availability of the productivity laptop right here.
