Lenovo just launched its first-ever gaming smartphone in Malaysia, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel. Featuring some high-end hardware under the hood with a unique pop-up selfie camera on the side, the Legion Phone Duel is quite an intriguing gaming smartphone.
For the Malaysian market, two variants of the Legion Phone Duel are offered. The 256GB model with 12GB of RAM retails at RM3,399, while the more generous 512GB option with a whopping 16GB of RAM costs RM3,999. Two colour options are available as well: Vengeance Red and Blazing Blue.
Now, what makes the Legion Phone Duel particularly unique is the placement of its 20MP selfie camera. It’s hidden underneath a pop-up mechanism on the right side of the phone, so when you’re gaming with the phone in landscape mode, the camera won’t be obstructed by your hands. This is purposely designed with streamers in mind.
Aside from that, the Legion Phone Duel is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset, so you can expect to get an excellent level of performance. it also comes with a 6.65-inch 2340 x 1080 AMOLED display with a high 144Hz refresh rate; something mobile gamers will definitely appreciate.
Other specifications of the Legion Phone Duel include two rear cameras (64MP f/1.89 primary + 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle) and a generous 5,000mAh battery. The 512GB variant of the gaming phone also supports 90W fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in only 30 minutes.
To recap, the Lenovo Legion Phone Duel retails at RM3,399 and RM3,999 for the 256GB and 512GB models respectively in Malaysia. The high-end gaming smartphone will be available for purchase locally from 26 October onwards.
